Leslie E. Kokoszka, age 57, passed away on August 18th, 2023 in her home in Bear, Delaware.

Leslie was born on September 15, 1965 in Wilmington, DE to the late Roberta (McCandless) and Truston Davis. She graduated from A.I. Dupont High School as a member of the class of 1983 and continued her education at Delaware Technical Community College in medical assistance. Leslie enjoyed working as a teacher and teaching assistant at Learning Express Academy in Newark, DE, where she made many friends over the years.

Leslie enjoyed tending to her home and garden and feeding the birds. She loved taking walks every day with her dogs, Cupcake and Love and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers fan. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to her parents, Leslie is preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Pyne. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Edward Joseph "Ed" Kokoszka; her son, Edward "Eddie" Kokoszka; her daughters; Catherine "Katie" Kokoszka (Cody Charles), Megan Kokoszka-Grandell (Alfred "Al", Jr); siblings, Sandy Sieminski (Kurt), and Dave Davis (Tina); her mother and father-in-law, Edward and Ann Kokoszka; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Friday August 25th from 10:30 A.M. to 12 P.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12 P.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 345 Bear Christiana Rd, Bear, DE 19701. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Online condolences may be made to mealeyfuneralhomes.com
