Lawrence "Larry" C. Piechoski, age 76, of Wilmington, formerly of Sun City Center FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 4, 2024.

Larry was born in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Veronica Maria (Fisher),  Stepmother Gloria(Kisser) and Larry Piechoski Sr. Larry graduated from high school and served our nation honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After returning from the service, Larry became a Credit Investigator for The Dun and Bradstreet Corporation and a Manager for the Verizon Corporation until his retirement. After retirement, Larry and his husband Karl moved to Sun City Center FL for 26 years, before returning to Delaware a few years ago.  In his free time, Larry loved traveling and going on cruises.

Larry is survived by his loving husband and partner of over 55 years, Karl B. Buffington; sisters, Joan Banks and Pat Sitko; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom he all loved.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
