Lawrence M. "Doc" Miller, age 78, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022.

Lawrence was born in Wilmington, son of the late Dorothy (Holveck) and Horace Miller. He received multiple degrees ultimately receiving his doctorate. He was a career member of the Army National Guard, reaching the rank as Lt. Col., and a social science professor at Delaware Technical Community College. In his free time, Lawrence loved to study anything religious, and spend as much time as possible with his family. In addition to his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by his brother, Horace Wayne Miller; and nephew, Kenneth Miller.

Lawrence is survived by his nieces, Sharon (Bruno) Battaglia and Tracy (Michael) Dixon; nephew, Joseph (Elisabeth) Miller; sister-in-law, Lucille Miller; and a host of great nieces, nephews, and close family friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 11:30 A.M to 12:30 P.M with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12:30 P.M, at St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, 809 S. Broom St, Wilmington, DE 19805. Burial will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
