Age 50 of Newark passed away peacefully at Sunrise Elkton on February 28, 2015.Kenny was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Ann Elaine (Geiszler) and John Bernard Riley. He was a former member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, where he received his sacraments. He was active with the Boy Scouts and a special Olympian with Delaware Special Olympics. Kenny always had a smile, loved playing cards and was also an accomplished artist. He had worked with Kent-Sussex Industries for several years.Kenny is survived by his brother, George Riley of Townsend; his sister, Elizabeth Hunt and her husband, Kevin of Kennett Square, PA and his nephews, Ryan and Ethan Hunt.A special thank you to the Sunrise Elkton Nursing home staff for their special care and dedication towards Kenny over the past years.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11 AM at Holy Angels Church, 82 Possum Park Road, Newark, where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Delaware Special Olympics, 619 S. College Avenue, Newark, DE 19716.
