Kathleen Rose Jannaman, age 72, of Newark, DE passed away surrounded by her family on November 29, 2025.

Born in Wilmington, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Anna Elizabeth "Betty" (McLaughlin) and Edward Jannaman. She graduated from Wilmington High School and earned a Bachelor of Education from the University of Delaware. She served her country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Kathleen spent close to 20 years working for the United States Postal Service as a mail handler and enjoyed working at Home Depot during her retirement. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and enjoyed spending time with her extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Delaware Hospice, Senior Helpers, and Pamela Perry for the care they provided to Kathy during a difficult time in her life.

Kathleen is survived by her siblings and their spouses, Mark and Karen Jannaman and Edward and Maria Jannaman; her nieces and nephews, Marisa Jannaman (Brent Panno) and Francis Jannaman (Jessica) Shelia Privat (Brent); and her great nieces, Maria and Kay.

A visitation will be held on Thursday January 22nd from 6 P.M. to 7 P.M. with funeral services to begin at 7 P.M at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will be held privately at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Salvation Army or your favorite charity.
