Kathleen L. Giuliani, age 80, of Columbia, MD, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Kathleen was born in Easton, PA, daughter of the late Catherine (Donnelly) and Joseph Trux. Kathleen graduated from high school and received her nursing certification from St. Francis Hospital Nursing School. Kathleen spent her entire nursing  career working with elderly in the nursing home setting until her retirement. In her free time, Kathleen enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables, sewing, crocheting, doing puzzles, and spending time with her friends and family. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was predeceased by her loving husband, Giovanni Giuliani in 2005 and her son in law, Albert F Hammett in 2007.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Sandra Hammett; son, Gregory Giuliani (Rhonda); grandchildren, Jacob Matthew Giuliani, Adrianna Leigh Giuliani, Megan Lauren Steinberg (Matthew), and Nicholas Joseph Hammett; great grandson, Jackson Albert Steinberg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom she all loved.

A visitation for Kathleen will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Mealey Funeral Home. 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may call from 11am to 12pm, with a memorial service following at 12pm. Burial will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Kathleen's name to the American Diabetes Association.
