Kathleen Ann Boyd, age 68, of Wilmington, DE passed away on October 19, 2018. Born in Coral Gables, FL, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Ann (Hodge) and Thomas Joseph Flynn. She graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School and went on to work as the Business Office Manager at Brandywine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for 18 years. While at Brandywine Nursing, she worked very closely with patients and their families to ensure placement at the facility. For the past few years, Kathy worked part time at Delaware Cardiovascular Associates assisting in many different capacities.Kathy was an incredibly loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very devoted to her two grandchildren, cherishing all of the time she was able to spend with them as they grew up. Kathy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Robert Michael Boyd in 2017.Kathy is survived by her son, Bradley "Brad" Boyd of Newark, DE; her grandchildren, Norah and Liam Boyd; her sister, Peggy Gannett (Bruce) of West Chester, PA; her brothers, Thomas Flynn of Springfield, PA, Michael Flynn (Laura) of Newark, DE and Christopher Flynn (Katie) of West Chester, PA; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.A visitation will be held at the chapel at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Hwy Wilmington, DE 19808 from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M., with funeral services beginning at 2 P.M., on Thursday October 25th, 2018.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities, 2601 W 4th St, Wilmington, DE 19805.
