Karl Joseph Dispenziere, age 70, of Newark, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, January 31, 2025.

Karl was born in Newark, NJ, son of the late Agnes (McCarthy) and Joseph Dispenziere. Karl graduated from Middletown High School North, was a lifetime member of Keyport First Aid Squad, and went on to serve our nation honorably in the U.S Air Force. After returning home from the service, Karl helped make a loving family and a caring community. He was a handy man who would always offer a helping hand and was always happy to share his knowledge. He enjoyed playing games, woodworking, and making toys for his children and eventual grandchildren. In his free time, Karl loved spending time with family and friends and traveling with his wife Jo Anne.

Karl is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Jo Anne Dispenziere; daughters, Jodi Kukulka, her husband Jason, and Jamie Dispenziere; grandchildren, Owen, Quinn, and Shane; sister, Madeline Dispenziere; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom he all loved.

A visitation for Karl will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 10:30-11:30 am, with a memorial service following at 11:30. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Karl's name to Wounded Warrior Project.
