Karen Christine Cunningham, age 76, of Wilmington, DE passed away on September 25, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Murphy) and George J. Cunningham. Karen graduated from the Ursuline Academy. She earned her B.A. in Art Education from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA. Subsequently, she participated in a summer painting program in Aix-en-Provence, France. Karen briefly taught elementary school and then taught art at De la Warr High School for a year. Painting remained her lifelong interest. She enjoyed taking courses at the O.L.L.I at the University of Delaware.

Karen is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. George T.J. Cunningham and Patricia Kelley Cunningham of Wilmington, DE.

A visitation will be held on Friday September 30th from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Rd, Wilmington, DE 19807. Burial will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.
