Julia F. Eck - November 27, 1928 to April 7, 2023

Julia F. Eck, age 94, of Wilmington passed away peacefully at home on Good Friday, April 7, 2023.

Julia was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Julia (Diffenderfer) and James Kirlin.  She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth High School. Julia dedicated her life to raising her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She loved to take family vacations and would travel with them twice per year.  Julia especially loved cruising with them.  She also loved weekend trips to the Delaware shore.  Family gatherings were very special to Julia and she would try to have them as often as possible. She was a life-long Catholic who had a special devotion to our Blessed Mother.  Julia will be remembered by her family and friends for her great love and special blessing as a peacemaker.

Julia is predeceased by her brothers James Kirlin and John Kirlin.  She is survived by her sister Ella Feeley, and her children; Nanette Holston (Kim), Mary Lou Reese (Thomas), and Howard Eck (Renee); grandchildren, Michael Williston (Caroline), Courtney Holston-Phillips, John Reese, Matthew Reese, Leah Eck, Lauren Finneck (Dan), and Christopher Reese (Dara); great grandchildren, Lyra, Ivy, Carter, Harrison, Greyson, and Lowen.

A private graveside service for Julia will be held at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19808.
