Joyce M. Graney, age 78, of Glen Mills, PA (formerly of Newark, DE), passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from complications of Parkinson's Disease. Born in Montrose, PA, Joyce was the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn (Arborsheski) Kurosky. For 20 years, she worked as a secretary for the DuPont Company. She was a member of Resurrection Parish where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was involved with Christian Formation, Marriage Encounter, the Charismatic Renewal and the Cursillo. Joyce and Joe were involved with the Jesus House from the beginning and served as board members. Joyce will be dearly missed by her husband of 56 years, Joseph M. Graney; their four daughters, Tricia Herron (Mark), Kathy Lafferty (Edward), Colleen Bialecki (John) and Elizabeth Ann Graney; their son, Joseph M. Graney, Jr. (Dawn); and her beloved grandchildren, Stephanie, Jessica, Kristina, Dylan, Jake, Lauren, Seth, Corinna, Josh and Emily; as well as their large extended family and friends. Joyce was preceded into heaven by her grandson Brandon and her sister Lorrie. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th from 2pm to 4pm outside Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Drive, Wilmington, DE 19808. You are encouraged to pay your respects from your car.
