Joseph Thomas Pellerito, Jr., age 56, of Wilmington, DE passed away at Christiana Hospital on August 23, 2021. Born in Upper Darby, PA he was the son of the late Anne Ross and Joseph T. Pellerito, Sr. Joseph served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He went on to work as the Chief Engineer at the Buccini Pollin Group. Aside from work, Joe enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling. He was always willing to help others and was happiest when spending time with his friends and family. Joe was a member of the Knights of Columbus and parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, Joseph is predeceased by his son, Anthony Pellerito and his twin brother, Michael Pellerito. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sheri Pellerito; his children, Matthew "Matt", Nicole, Camron, Joseph, Wesley, and Brooks; his grandchildren, Devin, Lany, Haily, Kai, Nathan, Christopher, Emma Grace, Mary Helen, Cayden, Maddie, Parker, and Andie; and his sister, Nanette. A visitation will be held on Thursday September 16, 2021 from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 1 P.M at the Mealey Funeral Home, 703 N. Broom Street Wilmington, DE 19805. Burial will be held privately.
