Joseph F. Malinowski, age 85, of Cape May Court House formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away surrounded by his family on April 12, 2022. Born in Wilmington, DE he was the son of the late Julia T. (Pollinger) and Joseph F. Malinowski, Sr. He was a member of the 1955 graduating class of the Salesianum School and went on to work at DuPont for over 30 years and Acme supermarkets for over 50 years, until his retirement. Joseph was a parishioner of St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Wilmington, DE.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Barbara Malinowski in 2019. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Julia and Dennis Hamm, Eileen Stewart, Barbara and Daniel Doherty, Joan and John Osborne, and Mark and Cher Malinowski; his grandchildren, Julie (Robert), Matthew (Kortlyn), Jesse (Jonathan), Kyle, Brendan, Keenan, Kelsey, Joelle, Joseph, Cady, and Aden; and his great grandchildren, Bryce and Jase.

A visitation will be held on Saturday April 23, 2022 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, 408 S Harrison St, Wilmington, DE 19805, from 9:30 A.M. to 10 A.M, with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 A.M. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Retired Priests of the Oblates of St. Francis DeSales, P.O. Box 87, Childs, MD 21916 or the Salesianum School, 1801 N. Broom St. Wilmington, DE 19802. In honor of Joe, the family encourages donating blood to your local blood bank.
