Joseph W. Habbart, age 57, of Wilmington, DE passed away on September 2, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE he was the son of Margaret M. (Dugan) and the late Joseph B. Habbart. He graduated from Delcastle High School and went on to work as an electrician for 35 years, most recently working for Nickle Electrical Companies. Joseph played baseball in his younger years and in high school; a sport that he would enjoy for his entire life. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. Joe enjoyed crabbing and spending time at the Indian River Bay.

In addition to his father, Joseph was predeceased by his sisters, Lynn Healy and Nancy Woznicki.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Margaret Habbart; his siblings and their spouses, Jim Woznicki, Jerry and Kathy Woznicki, and Jan and Jack Kinsella; his brother-in-law, Matthew Healy; and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday September 12th from 10 A.M to 11:30 A.M. with funeral services beginning at 11:30 A.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Wilmington, DE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Faithful Friends Animal Society, 12 Germay Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.
