Joseph V. Gannon, 84, of Wilmington, passed away on February 22, 2018.Joe was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Helen (McGinness) and John Gannon.Joe is survived by his wife, Deborah (Grabowski) Gannon; his daughters, Deborah Schenck (William) of Somers Point, NJ and Elizabeth Gannon of Ambler, PA; his sisters, Helen Walsh of Northeast Philadelphia and Sr. Kathleen Gannon, OSF of South Philadelphia; stepchildren, Dawn Moffett-Hugg (Steve), Aaron Moffett (Jen), and Meredith Hurst (Russ); and grandchildren, Stephanie Moffett-Hugg, Seth Hugg, Daniel Moffett, Everette Hodges, Quentin Hugg, Christopher Moffett, Garrett Hugg, and Carliana Hurst.A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 5, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Church, Clayton and Cedar Streets, Wilmington, at 11 AM, where friends may call after 10 AM.
