Joseph Anthony Celeste, age 53, of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 27, 2023.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of Joseph Anthony Celeste and the late Virginia (DesLonde) Celeste. He graduated with three Masters degrees from Rutgers University and went on to own and operate his own construction business. Joseph was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast. He will be remembered for his steady and caring nature, as he was always helping others.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Schwartz Celeste; his stepchildren, Brooke and Austin Schwartz; his father, Joseph Anthony Celeste; his sisters, Rosemary Glassmen (Jeff), Krystal Celeste, and Tiffany Celeste; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 4:00PM at the Jewish Community Center. Following the service, the family will be sitting Shiva at their home on Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 5:00PM - 8:00PM.
