John N. Wilkinson, age 74, of Lincoln University, PA and formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away on August 8, 2017.He was born in Wilmington, DE. the son of the late John F. and Lillian Haigh Wilkinson. John was retired from Shell Horn and Hill.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Eloise Dougherty and a half brother, William Haigh. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Deborah J. Schwamb Wilkinson; his two sons, William N (Beate) Wilkinson of Wilmington, DE and Brian C Wilkinson of Newark, DE; his two sisters, Ann Chance and Margaret Wilkinson, both of Wilmington, DE. and many nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 3:00 pm where visitation will begin at 2:00 pm at Mealey Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE. 19808.
