John Kevin Sload passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Complete Care Hillside Wilmington, DE at the age of 65.

Kevin was born and raised in Wilmington, DE, the son of the late Isabelle (Draper) and John H. Sload. He graduated from Mt Pleasant High School and soon after had a lengthy career at Brooks Armored Car. One of his accomplishments was to become a Master Mason for Temple Lodge #11 in Wilmington, DE and Past Master councilor and Orator for Order of DeMolay Wilmington DE. In Kevin's spare time he loved to bowl, spend time with family and attend church.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his nephew Stephen Coverdale.

Kevin is survived by his brother, Terry Sload (Rita) of Smyrna, DE; sister, Diane Cook of New Castle, DE; nephew, Drew Brough; and nieces, Jennifer Brough, Devon Madonna, Hannah Brough and Tristan Coverdale.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be planned for the spring of 2025.
