John A. Pelle, age 55, son, dad, brother, uncle, and good friend went home to be with the Lord on March 28th, 2024 in Christiana Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Wilmington, DE on May 2, 1968, John worked for Ultrachem until 2020 after 30 years of service and having worked his way up the ranks to Plant Manager.

Proud of his Italian heritage, John was predeceased by his parents, Ertedoro and Iole Pelle, sister Loretta Blevins, and brothers Paul and Joseph Pelle.

John is survived by his children, John Jr., Sarah, Vincent and Grace; sisters Lucy Pierce (John) and Louise Thomas (Jerry); a host of nieces and nephews; and friend Jeannette Bermudez.

John was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed all genres of music. He was a talented musician who loved to sing and play the drums as well as his guitar.

A visitation for John will be held on Thursday, April 4, at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 10-11am, with a celebration of life beginning at 11am. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery.

Profound gratitude is extended to the staff of the MICU at Christiana Hospital for the excellent care John received.
