John A. Nicoll, 80, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on Monday, June 25, after a long illness.John was born in Baltimore, Maryland to William D. Nicoll and Edith Elliott. He attended Baltimore Junior College and Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. He practiced optometry for thirty one years with his wife Emily out of their home in Wilmington. John was a parishioner at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and he played the trumpet in a volunteer orchestra.He is survived by his wife of fifty one years, Emily Weber Nicoll, and his daughters, Michelle and Kathleen and her spouse, Richard Cote.The funeral service and internment will be held at the family's convenience.
