John Michael Murawsky passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, after bravely battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) for a little over two years.
John was a beloved father, brother, and grandfather, a loyal friend, and a source of love, laughter, and encouragement to those fortunate enough to know him. His unwavering love, support, and larger-than-life personality were gifts we will treasure forever. He had a lifelong interest in history and a love for boating, skiing, cars, as well as building layouts and collecting trains for model railroading.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Murawsky, and his mother, Emily Cianfrocca, with whom he is now reunited. John is survived by his son Michael and his wife Ashley, his son Marc and his wife Gracia, along with his beloved grandsons, Judah and Micah; and his daughter Kerrin and her boyfriend Ryan. He is also survived by his sister Colleen and her husband Steve, and their daughter Molly, John’s cherished niece. His beloved grand dogs, Princess and Lola, will also be remembered as part of the family who brought him love and joy.
John leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories, laughter, stories, and meaningful connections. Whether through a conversation, a shared adventure, a funny story, or an ordinary moment made special by his presence, he had a way of creating memories that would last a lifetime. His family will forever be grateful for every moment shared with him and for the love he gave so freely.
While his family grieves the loss of someone so deeply loved, they take comfort in knowing that the memories John created extend far beyond their own. To everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, whether as a lifelong friend, a high school classmate, or someone whose path crossed his along the way, those memories are a lasting part of his legacy.
John will be profoundly missed and forever loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, sister, extended family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
Funeral services for John will be held privately.
