John-Michael Wilson, age 34, of Bear, Delaware, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 17, 2025.

Born on January 29, 1991, John-Michael was known for his big heart, his deep love for family, and his lifelong passion for sports. An avid fan of the Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers, he could tell you any statistic by memory and loved sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with everyone around him.

John-Michael was a devoted father, son, brother, and grandson. His daughter, Georgina, was the light of his life, and he loved her mother, Georgina Urbina, deeply. Family meant everything to him. He was known for his kindness and generosity - always willing to give, even when he had little himself. His sweet personality and strong work ethic touched everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Wilson and James Potter, and his brother, Daniel Wilson. He is survived by his loving parents, Tanya E. Wilson and Michael L. Wilson; his siblings, Robert A. Wilson and Alyssa Wilson; his grandmothers, Joyce A. Wilson (Roudie Harrison) and Joanne M. Jacono; his beloved daughter, Georgina Urbina; and his girlfriend, Georgina Urbina.

A visitation for John-Michael will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 10A.M. to 12P.M. with funeral services to begin at 12P.M. at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in John-Michael's name be made to Mealey Funeral Home to support funeral expenses. Other donations may be made in his memory to Attack Addiction or #NotInVain, organizations that support families and individuals affected by substance use disorder.

John-Michael's love, laughter, and gentle spirit will be forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him.
