John "Jack" A. Corrozi, Jr., age 45, of Newark, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. Jack was born in Wilmington, the son of John "Jack" A. Corrozi, Sr. and the late Monica (Cross). He attended Sanford School, graduated from St. Mark's High School, and attended Salisbury University. After college, Jack worked in various fields, including being a member of the motorsports team at MBNA, a brewmaster at Flying Fish Brewing Co, and a construction manager for local home builders. Jack loved football and playing for St. Mark's and Salisbury, but his crowning achievement was playing in the 1994 Blue-Gold All-Star Football Game. In his free time he loved to watch Nascar and Indy car races. His family described him as a good man who loved his friends and family very much. Jack was predeceased by his mother, Monica (Cross) Corrozi in 2000. Jack is survived by his father and step-mother, Jack Sr. and Vicki Corrozi; children, Anthony, Dominic, and Madison; and their mother, Carolyn Powell; sister, Kim Corrozi; step-brothers, Richie (Lea) and William Basciani; step-sisters Stefanie (Ken) Davis and Jessie Episcopo; and many nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Resurrection Parish, 3000 Videre Dr, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 9 to 11 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.
