John M. Bogucki, age 47, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 5th, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, he was the son of Doris (Hayes) and the late Henry J. Bogucki. He graduated from St. Elizabeth's High School as a member of the class of 1993 and attended Wingate University and the University of Delaware. John worked in banking as a credit analyst at Barclays, among other institutions.

His passion throughout life was music and he loved collecting vinyl records. Additionally, he enjoyed going to concerts, especially the Dave Bryne concert in Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.  He was a great cook and enjoyed sharing his meals with others. John cooked with ingredients that he grew himself in his beautiful backyard garden. John was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, supporting both the Eagles and Phillies. In his spare time, he enjoyed puzzles and CrossFit.

John was predeceased by his father, Henry J. Bogucki. He is survived by his mother, Doris Hayes Bogucki; his sisters and their spouses, Darlene and Carmen Paolo and Kathleen and Kenneth Shea; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Paolo, Samantha Evans (Chris), Stephanie Paolo (Brooke), Melissa Wilkerson (Caleb), and Doris Welsh (Paul); his dog and best buddy, Taj; and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family.  The family would like to give a special thank you to Nicole Scott, NP-C.   John will be dearly missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 18th from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. with funeral services beginning at 11:30 A.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808.
