Joel E. King fell asleep in death at 59 years of age on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Joel was born on September 24, 1965 to Joyce King (Bear, De) and Ernest King (deceased) in Southern New Jersey. Joel was born with a naturally sweet, kind, and caring soul and had a great sense of humor. He loved animals especially his cats. Joel loved being in nature and could regularly be found exploring the woods, fishing, and crabbing. He also had a knack for bringing the outdoors in with his gifted green thumb. Joel also loved to cook and could make something delicious even with limited ingredients. Joel will always be remembered and loved by his Mom, Joyce; older sister, Karen Leedom; younger sister, Greta Fox; Maternal Grandmother, Corrina Christiansen; and a long list of nieces, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We all look forward to the time when he will be reunited with his family to enjoy nature and life itself as it was truly intended to be. A private celebration of life will be held in his memory.
