Jocelyn Marie Gruver "Josie", 41 of Lansdale, PA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

Josie was born in Greenville, MS the daughter of Jane (Kulzer) Bilas and the late Boris J. Bilas. She attended Ursuline Academy and graduated from Lansing Catholic High School in Michigan. Josie received her Bachelor's Degree from St Mary's University in South Bend, IN and her Master's Degree and her PhD from Cornell University. After becoming a Ph.D., Jocelyn focused on her career in the chemical industry and found success at both large and small organizations.

Even with her passing, Jocelyn wanted to improve her world and help others. She chose to donate her organs and gave the gift of life to many people.

Josie was predeceased by her father, Boris J. Bilas in 2011. She is survived by her mother, Jane M. Bilas of Wilmington, DE; her children, Jack, Ben and Anna Gruver; her brother, Jeremy Bilas and his wife, Melanie of Princeton Junction, NJ and her niece, Sophia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 9, 2022 at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Church, 10 Old Church Road, Greenville at 10:30 AM. There will be no viewing. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
