Jeffrey Scott Irons, age 62, of Wilmington, DE passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 14, 2025. Born in Wilmington, Jeff was the son of Mary "Lu" (Knotts) and the late Albert Joseph "Joe" Irons. He graduated from St. Matthew's Grade School and St. Mark's High School. Jeff loved bowling with his family and was a devoted caretaker for his parents in their elderly years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by those closest to him.

Jeff was predeceased by his son, Matthew Irons and his father, Albert "Joe" Irons. Jeff is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Michelina), Joseph, Amanda, and Christine; his grandchildren, Alivia, Dominic, and Jay; his mother, Mary Luella "Lu" Irons; his siblings, Albert Jr. "Joe" (Diane), Victoria, John (Kathy), and James (Donna); and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday April 24th from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11 A.M. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Wilmington, DE 19804. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
