Jeanne Elaine Kubasko, age 84, of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on September 11, 2025. Born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania, Jeanne graduated from Newport High School, where she met the love of her life, Dennis Kubasko. High school sweethearts, Jeanne and Dennis' bond endured time and distance. After graduation, Jeanne moved to Philadelphia with close friends and family. A few years later, she and Dennis reunited, and on August 29, 1964, they were married. The couple made their first home in Milmont Park, Pennsylvania, where they lived until 1990. They then moved to Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, before retiring to Wilmington, Delaware in 2004. Since 1980, Jeanne and Dennis also treasured time at their beach home in Lewes, Delaware, where countless memories were made with family and friends.

Jeanne had a distinguished career in elder care, running two nursing and assisted living centers. She first managed Belvedere in Chester, Pennsylvania, and later Conner Williams in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, where her compassion, leadership, and dedication to residents were deeply appreciated.

Jeanne lived a life rooted in love, tradition, and family. She adored cooking and took great pride in her holiday traditions-feast of the seven fishes with homemade ravioli and spaghetti sauce as well as perogies at Christmas, her famous stuffing at Thanksgiving, and homemade Easter bread each spring. Jeanne had a passion for shopping, whether it was strolling through stores or, in later years, browsing QVC and online finds from home. Her greatest joy, however, was making every holiday and gathering special for the people she loved most. Nothing was more important to Jeanne than her family, and her legacy of love, care, and tradition will continue through her children. Jeanne is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 61 years, Dennis Kubasko, Sr.; her sons, Dennis Kubasko, Jr. (Erika) of Carolina Beach, NC and Derek Kubasko (Mary Anne) of Wallingford, Pa; her daughter, Gina Martin (Edward) of West Grove, Pa; her beloved grandchildren, Colin, Keira, Andrew, Claire, Julia; sister Angie Kozakiewicz (Martin); and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Molitoris; father, Angelo Andrezze;  sister, Mary Weeks; and brother, Carl Guastovino. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held privately.
