Jean Giles, age 96, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2023, at Ivy Gables Senior Living, Arden, DE.

Born in Wilmington, Jean was the daughter of the late James William and Ada Belle Ferguson. She was a graduate of Wilmington High School. She worked running the medical office for Dr. Michael Centrella, Jr. until her retirement. She was a member of Fraims Senior Center and a member of the former Silverbrook Methodist Church.

Jean outlived her husband, Norman, who died in 1988, and has outlived her eleven siblings. Jean is survived by her son Kevin of Reston, VA.
