Jim was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Arline Janison; and step-son, Ronald D. Parke, Jr.
Jim attended Haverford High School and honorably served in the United States Navy. He earned two Associate Degrees from Delaware County Community College, a Bachelor's Degree from Widener University, and a Master's Degree in Engineering from Penn State.
