James C. Krebs, Jr., age 78, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 13, 2022.

Born in Baltimore, MD, James was the son of the late Lillian (Bauman) and James C. Krebs, Sr. He graduated high school and proudly served in the Marine Corp Reserves. James later went on to have a successful career as a window and doors salesman. He loved crabbing and enjoyed following all of the Baltimore sports teams. His greatest joy in life however, was his family.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by loving wife, Carla. He is survived by his daughter, Sherri Beattie (Chris), sons, Matthew Krebs (Jennifer) and Stephen Krebs; grandchildren, Christian, Ryan (Shelby), Annabelle (Shane), Savannah, Angelina, Rosemarie; several great grandchildren; sister, Lynn Carr (Ronald), and brother, Gerard Krebs (Mariane).

Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will be held privately.
