James C. Brown, "Tink", age 68, of Newark, DE passed away on July 11, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE he was the son of Mary Grace (Kelso) and the late James W. Brown. He graduated from Del Castle Technical High School and served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Jim worked in Maintenance and spent time working for Rubino Builders, among other employers.

Jim's greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved fishing with his grandchildren and spending time crabbing on his boat. Jim and the grandkids would spend time on jet skis or on their four-wheelers, and would take their boat out wherever they could find a pond. He will be dearly missed.

Jim is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie (Woznicki) Brown; his children, Dana Walsh (Ralph) and James "Jimmy" Brown; his grandchildren, Hunter, Alaina, Mason, James Jr., and Caitlyn; his mother, Mary Grace Brown; his sisters, Linda Khanoyan (Ashad), Gail Ascione (Vinny), Lois Haynie (Robert), Renee Kotoski (John); his brothers and sisters-in-law, Marsha Sanders, Chuck Woznicki, Joseph Woznicki (Pam), and John Woznicki; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 19 from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 12:30 P.M. at the Mealey Funeral Homes, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way New Castle, DE 19720.
