James "Jim" P. Hedden, age 53, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2024, after a lengthy illness.

Jim was born and raised in Union Park Gardens, Wilmington Delaware. He attended St. Thomas the Apostle grade school, Skyline middle school, and graduated from Howard high school.

Jim was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He especially loved crabbing with his family and friends every summer when he was young on the Chester River in Chestertown, MD. Jim loved music, listening to mostly southern classic rock, but Metallica was his favorite.

Jim was predeceased by his parents, Leona (Ward) and John J. Hedden Jr; brothers, H. Micheal and Matthew J. Hedden. He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Erica Hedden; two beautiful girls, McKayla Marie Hedden and Savana Kopach; brothers, John J. Hedden III and Andrew T. Hedden; sister, Marie Bazzoli and her husband, Paul; close friend, Tommy Daniels; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends whom he all loved.

Per Jim's wishes, funeral services will be held privately.
