Jacqueline Flester, 90 of Newark, DE passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 24, 2026.

Born in Marshallton, DE to Anna Mae and William Hedrick. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Flester of Wilmington, DE. Having retired from Avon in 1996 after 30 years she loved having pool parties and holiday get togethers with family and friends. Jackie and Richard loved to dance, take day trips on their boat, the Dickey Jack, with friends and family including, Tinker, Bip and Dan; their beloved dogs.

She is survived by 4 children, Cheryl Carey of New Castle, DE, Christi Nelson of Chestertown, MD, Cindy Forshey of Newark, DE, James Windle of Newark, DE, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Burial will be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, Delaware.
