Jacklyn Bea
Wilson, "Jackee"
October 11, 1990 – January 28, 2023
Jacklyn Bea Wilson, age 32, of Wilmington, DE, passed away unexpectedly, to be with the Lord, on January 28, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Jackee, born on October 11, 1990, was the loving and beautiful daughter of Karen (Evans) and the late Philip L. Williams, Jr. She graduated from Hodgson Vo-Tech where she played volleyball as a setter for all four years.
Jackee is very recently preceded in death by her father, Philip L. Williams, Jr, and also her grandfather, Philip L. Williams, Sr. Jackee is survived by her mother, Karen Williams of Bear; her sister Audrey K. Wilson (Rodney) of Wilmington; her sister Alaina L. Williams-Cotto (Kendria) of Middletown; her brother Philip L. Williams III of Naples, FL; her niece Trinity Patterson; her grandmother Gladys E. Williams of Bear, and several very loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jackee was a great lover of animals and spent much of her adult life rescuing, loving and caring for so many animals that she saved or touched the lives of. Jackee spent years working at the DE Humane Society and with other local animal rescues. Jackee had many animals of her own throughout her life that she loved dearly, including dogs: Grace, Scooby, Stubby, Finn, Bo, Enzo, Dominick, Baby & Sissy; and cats: Floyd and Ducky. The story of she and rescue dog Scooby was published in a book on uplifting stories of senior rescue dogs. Jackee only had fur-babies.
Many would recognize Jackee by her stunning and colorful tattoos, a representation of who Jackee truly was as a person. Her beauty shined from the inside out, and will continue to as Jackee has graciously chosen to be an organ donor, and several of her organs will help to hopefully save at least five other people. This is a testament to how incredible a person that Jackee was, and the spirit that will continue to live on in the hearts of all her family and friends.
