Jack Merrill Bilson, Jr, 84, passed away on December 9, 2024. He was born and grew up in Elmira, New York, the son of Jack Merrill Bilson, Sr., and Eileen Chambers Bilson. After serving one year in the National Guard, he enlisted in the Navy, serving for over four years, and received an honorable discharge. He then graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations in 1970.

He worked many years in Human Resources, with Unisys Corporation, Certainteed Corporation, and Prudential Preferred Financial Services. He was active in the Middle Atlantic Placement Association, as well as local Human Resource organizations.

He was an active member of the American Rose Society. He hybridized and registered several new varieties of roses and day lilies. He lectured to gardening groups and taught evening adult classes in gardening. His other hobbies included golf and antiques.

He is predeceased by his parents, and his spouse, Nancy Fuchs Bilson. He is survived by a sister, Jean Bilson, of Horseheads, New York, a son, Jack Merrill Bilson, III of Phoenixville, PA, and a grandson, Ethan Bilson.

Interment will be private at the convenience of family.
