Irma Luz Morales, age 74, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

Irma was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Delia (Colon) and Miguel A. Morales. She graduated from high school and went on to begin her career as a line worker in the paint department at Chrysler, where she worked until her retirement. Irma's family described her as a loud, generous, and loving family woman who was known for her infamous parties. In her free time, Irma enjoyed singing, camping, fishing, and playing dominoes. In addition to her parents, Irma was predeceased by her long-time partner, Ana Carrasquillo; four brothers; and two sisters.

Irma is survived by her sons, Eduardo Garcia (Rossana); Christian Concepcion (Alexandra), and Jose E. Valentine; one grandchild; four brothers; three sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.

A visitation for Irma will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808, where friends and family may call from 10-11:30 AM with a memorial service following at 11:30 AM. Burial will be held privately.
