Wang Huiyuan, beloved husband of Zhang Wenbo, and father of Wang Yufei passed away in the morning of August 3rd 2025.

Huiyuan was born in a small village in rural northeastern China, where he was loved by his family and 4 other siblings. He married Zhang Wenbo in Shenyang, China in 1987, and had one child Wang Yufei. With his hard work and perseverance, Huiyuan overcame countless obstacles in his life and brought his family to the United States at the age of 45. Here he fully embraced its lifestyle and liberty. He grew to love fishing and gardening, two iconic activities known among his friends and family as his favorite past time.

Huiyuan reveres the values of hard work and education. Through them, he had the pleasure of working with some of the most talented men and women of Amtrak, a second home where he devoted his career.

From humble beginnings until the very end, Wang Huiyuan was an exemplary husband to his wife, a hero in the eyes of his son, and a loyal friend to all who knew and loved him. He will be forever missed.

A reception where Huiyuan's family members will be present will be held on Saturday August 9th from 2:00 pm to 4:00pm. At Mealey Funeral Homes, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington DE

张文波挚爱的丈夫、王宇飞的父亲王惠元于2025年8月3日上午逝世。

惠元出生于中国东北农村的一个小村庄,深受家人和四个兄弟姐妹的爱戴。1987年,他与张文波在中国沈阳结婚,育有一子王宇飞。凭借勤奋和毅力,惠元克服了人生中的无数困难,并在45岁时携家人移居美国。在这里,他完全融入了美国的生活方式并拥抱了这里的自由。他逐渐爱上了钓鱼和种植蔬菜,在家人和朋友看来,这是他最常做也最喜欢的消遣。

惠元崇尚勤奋和教育。通过这些,他有幸与美国铁路公司(Amtrak)一些最才华横溢的员工共事,这里正是他奉献职业生涯的第二故乡。

从谦逊的起点到生命的终点,王惠元始终是他妻子心中的模范丈夫,是他儿子眼中的英雄,也是所有认识他之人的忠实朋友。他将被永远怀念。
