Hilda R. Saienni, of Elsmere, DE, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2023.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Jennette and Thomas C. Smith, and was predeceased by her sisters, Jennette Ciotti and Jane George.

Hilda will be dearly missed by friends and family including her husband of 60 years, Joseph "Sie" Saienni; her son, Joseph Saienni (Sherry) of Wilmington, DE; daughters, Deanna Francisco (Thomas) of Middletown, DE and Michelle Saienni of Wilmington, DE; beloved grandchildren Alyssa Whittaker, Jonah Saienni; step-grandchildren, Noah and Sarah Pollock, Danielle Zickgraf (Jacob), Elise and Thomas Francisco, Vincent Saienni, Jesse Gentry and Edwin Carter Jr; great-grandchildren, Leo Saienni and Audrey, Scarlett and Lane Zickgraf; as well as adored nieces and nephews and their children.

In accordance with Hilda's wishes, services will be private and the family requests no flowers be sent.
