Herman W. Sadler, 84 returned to his heavenly home on February 11, 2021 after a valiant battle, surrounded by his loving family. His firm belief in God supported him and ultimately gave him strength. Herman was born to the late Aaron and Carrie Sadler in Bluefield, West Virginia. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Willis Sadler and Lonnie Sadler. Herman was a longtime member of the Immanuel Church and a devoted Christian. Herman was a talented woodworker and enjoyed remodeling the family home and took great pride in his work. He was a well-rounded career man, retiring from the Division of Motor Vehicle. Herman is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frances Sadler; his sons, Donald (Eleanor) and Kenneth; his daughters, Angela and Desiree; his precious grandchildren, Emily, Aaron, Renee, Cassandra and Tyler; his great grandchildren; and many nieces and cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, February 17, from 10:00am-11:00am at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808. A service in celebration of Herman's life will follow visitation at 11:00am. Burial will be private.
