Herbert J. Davis, 92 of Wilmington passed away peacefully on Monday, December 19, 2022 at his home.

Herb was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Elizabeth (Ritmiller) and Herbert Davis.  He retired from the DuPont Company in 1990 after 42 years as a cost accountant.  Herb was a member of St. John the Beloved Church.

In addition to his parents, Herb was predeceased by his wife, Ann E. "Nancy" Davis in 2019, his children, Artie, Lynn and Stephen and his brother, Robert.  He is survived by many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington, DE 19808 at 11 AM. where friends may call after 10:30 AM.  Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the church at the address above.
