Henry Charles Mamenko, age 60, of Claymont, DE, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023.

Henry was born in Chester, PA, son of the late Mary Elizabeth (Heller) and Michael Daniel Mamenko Sr. Henry graduated from Claymont high school and went on to work at Delaware Park, eventually becoming a receiving manager. Henry loved horse racing and had previously held jobs at both the Brandywine Racetrack and a racetrack in Maryland. Henry was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, rooting on his beloved Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and 76ers. In his free time, Henry enjoyed traveling to Florida for the beaches and attending Phillies Spring Training in Clear Water, and spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his parents, Henry was predeceased by his brothers, Michael Daniel Mamenko Jr. and Daniel Michael Mamenko.

Henry is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Marie Navin and her husband, Richard, and Patricia "Trisha" Foresman; nephews, Michael Daniel Mamenko III, Steven Mamenko, Navin, Richard G. Navin Jr., and James David Mamenko; nieces, Anneliese Elliott and Melissa Mamenko; three great nephews; one great niece; and his beloved friends who were his second family, Mark and Millie Whaley, Bill Colmery, Amy Striker, Virginia Leiton, Lou Episcopo, Theressa and Jim, and Pam.

A visitation for Henry will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19898, where friends and family may call from 10:30-11:30 am, with a memorial service following at 11:30 am. Burial will be held privately.
