Hailey Rebecca Heaps, 22 of Newark passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Hailey was born in Newark, the daughter of Michele (Stauffer) and Woodrow Heaps. She attended Glasgow High School and Sarah Pyle Academy.

Hailey is survived by her children, Edward Ross, V, Kaiden Ross and Oaklynn Ross; her mother and step father, Michele and Steven Short of Newark; her father, Woodrow Heaps of Coatesville, PA; her brothers, Tyler Stauffer and his wife, Brittany of Newark, Luke Heaps of Newark and Matthew Heaps of Coatesville, PA; her niece, Ava Stauffer; her maternal grandparents, Diane and Roger Wroten of Wilmington; her aunt, Stephanie Devine of Wilmington; her uncle, Joseph Heaps and his wife, Deborah of Coatesville, PA and many great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 1700 Limestone Road at 11 AM, where friends may call after 10 AM. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be sent to Mealeyfuneralhomes.com
