Graham LeRoy Rich, age 85 of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

He was born in Salem, New York in 1939 to Daniel LeRoy and Bernice Rich (nee Brown). After graduating from Clarkson College of Technology, he entered the Navy. He married Betsy J. Bain in 1962. They had 3 children: Stacey, Paula and James while they were stationed in Oklahoma; Key West, Florida and Subic Bay, Luzon, Philippines. Graham served in Vietnam and earned many commendations while in the Philippines.

When he left the Navy, he began working for the DuPont Company as a civil engineer. The family continued to move until finally settling in Pike Creek, Wilmington, DE in 1977. After retiring, Graham and Betsy spent time seeing the world by trains, planes and ships. Graham enjoyed playing and traveling with his 4 grandchildren: Katie, Jacob, Chris, and Clare. When great-grandson Bennet arrived, he was delighted.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Barbara and June; niece Beth; his wife Betsy and son in law Dan.

A private family service is planned. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research (www.lustgarten.org) or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org) in his wife's honor.
