Giuseppe Giuliani, age 92, of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2023.
Giuseppe was born in Introdacqua, Italy, to the late Nicola and Maria Giuliani. He spent eleven years living in Venezuela before immigrating to the United States in 1960. Giuseppe worked as a carpenter by trade and spent 30 plus years working for James Julian Construction company. He loved tending to his lawn and spending time in his garden, where he grew his own fruits and vegetables. He enjoyed making his own tomato sauce and homemade pizzas for his family. Giuseppe very much enjoyed dancing to Spanish music at Delaware Park and the Newark Senior Center, as well as watching Italian soccer. He enjoyed visiting his home in Italy, and Venezuela, where he had fond memories.
In addition to his parents, Giuseppe is predeceased by his siblings, Filomena DelSignore, Giovanni Giuliani, Albina DeSantis, and Italo Giuliani. He is survived by his children, Laura Muschiatti (Mike), Sonia Giuliani and Joe Giuliani; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Derek, Jimmy, Nicholas, Michael, Garret, Ella, and Gabe; his great grandson, Zachary; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
A visitation will be held on Monday June 26th from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M, and again on Tuesday morning from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. with funeral services beginning at 10 A.M., all at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808. Entombment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
