Geraldine (Geri) L. Emmett, age 77, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Sunday May 29, 2022.

Geraldine was born in Chester, PA, daughter of the late Crystal (Snyder) and Joseph Ferguson. She worked various jobs throughout her life but most recently retired from Christiana Hospital where she worked in Dietary for over 25 years. In her earlier years while raising her girls in Colorado with her late Husband Leonard Emmett, Geri enjoyed fishing and camping, but when she moved back East to be closer to family, she just enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her family, especially later in life with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Geraldine is predeceased by her grandson, Corey Kisielewski; sisters, Sandra Kearns and Eileen Gibbs; and step-father, William Kopanski.

Geraldine is survived by her daughters, Denise Allen, Michele Fuller and Kimberly Emmett; granddaughter, Molly Fuller; four great grandchildren; sisters Bonnie Becker and Joann Kusik, who was Geraldine's twin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close family & friends who she loved very much.

To honor Geri's wishes, there will be no funeral service. You are invited to privately celebrate her memory in your own ways. She will be with you in spirit.
