Age 74, of Wilmington, DE, passed away at Christian Hospital on Sunday, July 17, 2016 surrounded by his family.Born in Wilmington, Jerry was the son of the late Elizabeth (Campbell) and William Paul Miller, Sr. Jerry worked at General Motors as a repairman for 30 years and also owned Miller Construction for 45 years doing home repair and remodeling. He enjoyed home renovations, rebuilding cars, and fishing. He was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Marie Lamb and his brother, William P. Miller, Jr.He will be dearly missed by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Ann (Pepeta) Miller; his daughter, Carrie-Lyn Miller of Wilmington, DE; his grandchildren, Corri Winnington of Newport, DE and Chad Lamb of Wilmington, DE; and a sister, Joan McKelvey of Greenfield, MA and sister-in-law Jeanette Miller of Mount Laurel, NJ. Jerry was loved and adored by everyone who's life he touched and we were truly blessed to have him in our lives. Jerry will be forever loved and missed.Friends and family are invited to visitation on Monday, July 25th after 10:30 AM at Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington where funeral services will begin at 11:30 AM.
