George Sheridan, age 67, of Bear, DE passed away peacefully at home on December 19, 2024. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Cora (Kasarda) and Gerald Sheridan, Sr. George spent his career working as a lab technician at ICI, Imperial Chemical Industries. During his retirement, he enjoyed watching horse racing at Delaware Park and playing the lottery, in addition to spending time with his children and grandchildren.

George is survived by his children, Dawn Sheridan and George Sheridan; his grandchildren, Alexis Delpederis, Lillian Shriner (Kohen), Theoharis Delpederis, and Madalyn Morgan; his siblings, Colleen Will (John), Gerald Sheridan, Jr., and Kathleen Combs. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Michael Sheridan.

Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mealey Funeral Homes, P.O. Box 2866 Wilmington, DE 19805, (302) 652-5913, to assist with funeral costs.
