Geoffrey R. Auer, 62 of Wilmington passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Jeff was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Mildred "Sue" (Jump) and Robert C. Auer, Sr. He graduated from McKean High School and worked as a carpenter. Jeff was a member of the Carpenters Local 219 for about 6 years. He enjoyed fishing, listening to The Who and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jeff is survived by his daughters, Amanda Lynn Harvey and her husband, Steve and Alyssa Josephine Auer and her fiancé, Randy Mosley; his granddaughters, Lily and Violet; his siblings and their spouses, Robert C. Auer, Jr. "Bob", Chuck and Barbara Auer, Deb and Dave Snyder, Doug and Diane Auer and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his little buddy, Oreo, who he played with all time.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road, Wilmington at 3 PM, where friends may visit after 2 PM.  www.mealeyfuneralhomes.com.
