Francis Joseph "Boots" Ciotti, Jr., age 79, of Lewes, DE formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away on March 30, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Born in Wilmington, DE he was the son of the late Marguerite (Agavizo) and Francis Joseph Ciotti Sr. He attended St. Anthony of Padua grade school and graduated from the Salesianum School. Boots retired as a millwright from DuPont. He coached youth baseball and youth football teams for many years. Boots was considered a "master crabber" and took pleasure in passing the tricks of the trade to family and friends. He was an avid Phillies, Eagles, and most notably Notre Dame football fan.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step father, Frank Macuk; his brother, Joe Tassone; his wife of 60 years, Jennette Smith Ciotti; and his daughter, Michelle Ciotti Masiello.

Boots is survived by his daughter, Lisa Ciotti Lento and her husband, Michael of Lewes, DE; his son, Jeffrey Ciotti and his wife, Tina of Newark, DE; his son-in-law, William Masiello; his grandchildren, Chase Lento (Leah), Alexia Lento, Blaise Masiello, Demi Masiello, Gabe Ciotti; his great grandson, Daine Lento; and his dog Rudy.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday April 5, 2022 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12 P.M. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 9th and DuPont Streets, Wilmington, DE 19805.
